Nature & Wildlife
Portraits

I was born with a genetic appreciation for the outdoors. Some of my greatest childhood memories include hunting and fishing trips on the weekends. As my art experience widened, I found a passion for wildlife photography. Recently I had the opportunity to photograph a bald eagle in the George Washington National Forest, fulfilling a long standing bucket list bullet point.

When there's nothing around to take pictures of, I use my friends. Going on trips to new places with new backdrops presented a ritual-like opportunity to get some cool shots. Candid portraits of friends or family became one of my favorite souvenirs from any vacation, from spring break to Christmas dinner.

Street photography has always interested me, but my living situation has always demanded that I steer towards nature. From time to time I've been able to photograph some eye catching buildings, live concerts, cars, and more. This collection is dedicated to an area of photography which I will forever pursue "adequacy."

There was a period of time when I made it my life's mission to chase every sunset. At this time I think the best one I saw was in June of 2022. It will be tough to beat. These shots showcase my favorite sunrises and sunsets. There's no better cover page to the day than catching the first or last moments of light.
